MFJ-554: The worlds finest code practice oscillator is designed for demanding
classroom use and abuse. It produces a true pure sinewave sidetone with
no trace of harsh keyclicks. Youll hear the clearest, sweetest
sounding CW you have ever heard. Delivers full 1 watt into built-in 3"
speaker -- fills an entire room. Low distortion -- less than .2% total
harmonic distortion from its BTL (Bridge-Tied-Load) amplifier. Volume
control, 400-1000 Hz tone control, on/off switch, power on LED, 1/4 inch
key jack, 3.5mm external speaker jack uses 12 VDC. All metal enclosure. MFJ-281: SSB FM, Am, and CW never sounded so crystal clear! Plug in this MFJ
ClearTone speaker and bring out communication speech fidelity that you
never knew existed.
It restores the smooth sound of sinewaves that CW naturally generates
and make it easy to copy. THE MFJ-281 ClearTone speaker was carefully
designed to improve the intelligibility of speech in the frequency range
of 600 to 4000Hz while reducing undesirable noise, static, and hum.
A top grade 3 inch Mylar cone speaker is mounted in a well designed
speaker baffle. A fine mesh metal grille allows sound to radiate
without being muffled. Versatile swivel mounting bracket lets you
