Die MF/PIC-Karte ist für die Bereitstellung mehrerer E/A-Funktionen für Motorola MC680x0-CPU-Karten wie die mini-68K- oder KISS-68030-Karten vorgesehen.

Es unterstützt auch vektorisierte Interrupts auf den Z80-CPU-Boards, SBC v1 und v2.

Die Karte enthält die folgenden Peripheriefunktionen:

• Programmierbarer Vectored Interrupt Controller mit dem National Semiconductor NC32202.
• Einzelner serieller Konsolen-Port unter Verwendung der PLCC-Version des TL16C550 mit Pegelumsetzern.
• Batteriegestützte CMOS/RTC unter Verwendung des DS1302.
• Parallele Schnittstelle unter Verwendung eines 82C55; unterstützt auch PPIDE.
