A unique,Vintage,Hofner,Committee,Guitar from 1967 converted to elecro-acoustic by the addition of an original,1960,Hofner Toaster,Pickup and a control panel. The panel has Bass,Treble,Rhythm and solo switches and a Volume knob. The headstock carries an elegant set of Van Ghent Tuners,inlays and the Hofner logo. The Neck is straight,with some play ware on the back,the frets are in good condition as is the beautifully inlaid Fretboard. The Hardwood based,Chromatic,Bridge, is linked to a monogramed,Hofner,Escutcheon Tailpiece. The acoustic voice is Mellow,sound great through an amplifier, where the archtop lends resonance to the tone. The Back and side panels are beautiful,Bird's Eye,Maple,with elegant inlaid design.
