This is an outstanding very decorative and highly collectible Art Noveau art ceramic design vase by DAGOBERT PECHE Austria / execution Gmundner Keramik for WIENER WERKSTAETTE  which shows a beautiful open work geometric design in light green and yellow colour; marked on the bottom  WW Gmundner Keramik, mod. Nr. 0106; in a very good oriignal condition; the base shows minor light abrassions like illustrated on detail pictures; no restorations; a beautiful Art Nouveau design piece as fine addition for your collection!

GMUNDEN / GMUNDNER ART POTTERY manufacture : founded 1829 by family Schleiss / Schleiß in Gmunden / Austria; Leopold Schleiß (1853 – 1910) overtook the company from his father in 1887 and founded an art pottery manufacture in Gmunden-Traunleiten in 1903. In 1904 Franz Schleiß leaded the company and worked together with Emilie Simandl his later wife (1911). The manufacture was specialized in Majolica and faiences, figurines, vases, trinket boxes and bowls. The company worked together with several alumnae of the K. u. K. art design school Vienna and later following other artists: Hertha Bucher, Hilde Dittrich, Josef Hoffmann, Johanna Künzli, Maria Likarz, Berthold Löffler, Josef Emanuel Margold, Josef Martin Palme, Dagobert Peche, Michael Powolny, Valerie Wieselthier, Ida Schwetz Lehmann, Wolfgang von Wersin, Franz von Zülow and the painters Ernst Huber and Ernst August Freih. V. Mandesloh. The company was represented at several successful exhibitions in Austria and London.

The Wiener Werkstätte / Wiener Werstaette / Viennese Workshops , an association of artists was founded in 1903 by Josef Hoffmann and Wedgehood   as the Wiener Werkstätte GmbH.

INSURANCE:

RETURN POLICY:

Costumers may be allowed to return ordered items within 5 days after receipt - only in the event that our item description is incorrect. Otherwise, please contact us to discuss individual circumstances and the possibility of making special arrangements. The costs of insurance and delivery are a service, and are therefore non-refundable. 

DAMAGED ITEMS:

We ship worldwide, and take great care to package our items very carefully for shipping long distances. Please inspect your ordered item immediately upon receipt (you can decline acceptance when the parcel shows obvious damage). We ship every item fully insured. In the case of damage during transport you will have to take the following steps: Please take photographs of the outer packaging materials, take detailed photographs of the damaged item, and please keep all packaging for any further inquiries. Please contact your local Post Office that delivered the parcel with the damaged item, and fill in a "damage report" form. The Post Office will then supply you with a confirmation.   

Please then send all these documents to us via Express Air Mail, e-mail, or fax, and we will then be able to contact our local Post Office to claim on the insurance. In the case of possibility of restoration, please send us an estimate of the restorations costs of a local restorer - (written the restorer´s business letterhead) - and / or statement of thediminution of item´s value that resulted from the damage it sustained during transit.
