Rasiermesser SIGI GOLD Stosser #42 Böhler St.Straight Razor Solid Blade Solingen

Angeboten wird schönes und kleines Rasiermesser sogenannter Stosser No 42.

Eines der alten Produktion der Marke SIGI-GOLD hergestellt in Solingen aus Böhlerstahl (Carbonstahl, nicht rostfrei).

Die Breite der derben Klinge beträgt 4/8" und ist 1/4 hohl nahe wedge, prima Schliff und Verarbeitung, in höchster Solinger Vollendung, aus Normalstahl (Kohlenstoffstahl).

Eingebettet in schönen schwarzen Heft mit SOLINGEN Einlage die dieses gute Stück Handwerkskunst aus Solingen komplettieren. Aus feinem Böhlerstahl (Karbon Stahl). Wie erwähnt, es befindet sich etwas Oberflächenkorrosion am Erl und der Angel s. Fotos. 

Wie fast immer bei mir aus schöneren Zeiten, stammt aus den 1960er Jahren. Zum benutzen oder Sammeln- dann wird es garantiert ein Schmuckstück in Ihrer Sammlung Sie jahrelang noch Freude haben werden; gute Pflege vorausgesetzt.

Das Messer scheint mir unbenutzt zu sein, und lag jahrelang in meiner Sammlung. Das hone wear dass Sie event. sehen oder auch nicht ist oft üblich bei diesen derben Messern, da mehr und länger Druck ausgeübt wird beim abziehen auf dem Stein. Wird geliefert so wie auf den Fotos mit seinem Schuber. Er hat ein paar Lagerspuren und Altersflecken. Die Klinge wird vor Versand leicht eingeölt.

Being offered is a nice and cute straight Razor MADE IN GERMANY of the SIGI-GOLD brand, quite rare to come across brand.

Please note, this is solid blade razor called French type  of width 4/8" (15 mm). Its 1/4 hollow ground (near to wedge) and embedded in shiny black scales with Solingen inlay in German nickel-silver.

Forged from best grade BÖHLER STEEL a very good carbon-steel used for straight razors and high quality hair shears as well; should be out of the 1960s or even 50ies.

Due toCarbon steel, please always dry carefully after use. The razor seems to me not used, as mentioned it has has some pitting spots on the tang and monkey tail. The hone wear  which you may recognize on the pics, if any, is not hone wear, but normal in production process for such solid blades when exerting more and longer pressure and to sharpen on the stone than with ordinary full hollow ground blades.

Blade closes perfectly centered and in firm manner.
