I never use words like "good for its age". I might include words like "rare" but only when my 30+ years of experience tells me this is true. Of course, an item being rare doesn't mean it's valuable. Just as an item being cheap doesn't mean it's not very valuable to the right person.  Rare means just not easily obtained.  PHOTOS - This is advice to gift buyers mostly, be aware of sellers that use scanners or trimming. Often scanning your paper item will bleach out marks like scuffing & even folds, this is also done using the eBay image editor. Some sellers will even edit their images to trim the edges to hide a defect like rusty staples or rips on the spine. You should be able to see the whole item clearly & it should look natural. My photos are honest, I use unedited images taken by a camera on a tripod mostly. Zoom in to inspect the condition. DELIVERY - No matter if I state free delivery or ask for payment all my items are packed well. Because of this they may sometimes weigh more and have to go into a different postage price range. For example, most tickets are under 100gs, less than 5mm & will fit into a small envelope, that's obvious. The current Royal Mail's lowest cost for that would be 75p at the moment. But sending a ticket in a flimsy way like that is not advisable, they could get folded. So I fix them to a stiff card, to keep them safe. This adds both weight and thickness but gets the item to the buyer in the best condition possible. So even a ticket might have to go Large Letter 250gs at a cost of £2.30. Also, know that eBay takes 10% of all quoted postage fees. So to show the real postage the quoted price has to be higher but I tend to share this cost. I don't seek to profit from postage. I am happy to refund any spare postage cost, especially with orders containing more than one item. RETURNS - Mistakes happen, I spend as little time as I can listing cheaper items. The reason for that is time & reward for spending that time. on eBay if you sell an item for less than £5 with postage, the funds you receive after the fees are unlikely to be more than £2.00. I'm always happy to own my mistakes and unless stated I accept all returns within the quoted time period. All I ask is you use the same care as I do when packing & sending back. Please use the eBay return system.
